Instructions for Use

Option 1 – Prepare 10X PBS

1. Dissolve 100 g of PBS powder in approximately 900 mL of distilled or deionized water
2. Adjust volume to 1 L
3. Resulting solution: 10X PBS, pH ~6.8

Option 2 – Prepare 1X PBS (Recommended)

1. Dissolve 100 g of PBS powder directly in 10 L of distilled or deionized water
2. Resulting solution: 1X PBS, pH ~7.4

No additional pH adjustment is required for most applications.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.

Composition (1X PBS)

When prepared as 1X PBS, the solution contains:

- 137 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl)
- 2.7 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl)
- 10 mM Sodium Phosphate
